Information on the processing of personal data pursuant to articles 12 and ss. of Regulation (EU) 2016/679

Regulation (EU) 2016/679 ("General Data Protection Regulation"), hereinafter "GDPR" provides for the protection of individuals with reference to the processing of their personal data. According to this legislation, the processing of personal data relating to a person, specifically to be defined as "interested", is based on principles of correctness, lawfulness and transparency, as well as the protection of the privacy and rights of the interested party as provided for by Articles 12 to 23 of the GDPR.

In compliance with the aforementioned European legislation, we publicly inform about the legitimate interest provided for by the GDPR which allows us to use and collect personal data of the interested party, in particular of the interested party to the Newsletter, which are collected by a specific Newsletter subscription form and that through the tools control technicians, are data that are acquired by us directly from the interested party.

We therefore specify that our structure processes the following data, which are in fact essential for the correct provision of the Newsletter service: E-Mail address, name and surname of the owner of the E-Mail address.

Pursuant to the GDPR, since these data are information that refer to the interested party to the Newsletter service, they must be qualified as "personal data", and must therefore benefit from the protection provided by these provisions. Kindly note that, we are providing you with the following information to explain the content of our newsletter as well as the registration, dispatch and statistical evaluation processes and your right of objection. By registering for receiving our newsletter, you agree with the described processes and to the receipt of unigiro.org emails and contents.  

Double opt-in and recording process

Registration for our newsletter is completed as part of a double opt-in process. This means you will receive an E-mail after registering in which you will be asked to confirm your registration. This confirmation is required so that nobody can register with email addresses that do not belong to these records. The newsletter registrations are recorded in order to be able to verify the entire registration process in accordance with legal requirements. This includes storing the time of registration and confirmation and the IP address. The changes to your data will be also recorded.

The purpose of our newsletter:

We only send emails and other electronic notifications with advertising material (referred to hereinafter as the “newsletter”) with the consent of the recipients or legal permission. If specific content of the newsletter is altered during the registration process, this content is essential for the consent of the users.

Our emails contain information on financial and environmental sustainability, like how to evaluate financial risk and techniques used by economists, banks and financial experts in the evaluation of different types of financial assets (e.g., how to measuring the financial risk of a portfolio of assets, how to read the financial statements of a company, how to use Key Performance Indicators for understanding and measuring financial sustainability … how to benchmarking assets and other interesting topics on green assets ratios and green economy …). These contents are intended to serve as fuel for Investments valuation and understanding the risks, but also being implemented with the project XBRL Data Analytics engine respectively on a country basis in order to contribute in the armonization of KPI and sustainable performance indicators. Anything that will help you be a better and be more motivated to become better day might be included also.

Please note that by subscribing at this newsletter, You will be receiving a maximum of two newlsletter per month (2 newsletters per month).

Please also note that with a minimum rate of one per month, and from time to time, we send to our regular subscribers promotional and direct marketing contents.

Use of the email service provider “HOST SpA”

The newsletter is dispatched by means “Host SpA” (Host SpA Corso Svizzera n°185, CAP:10149 Torino – Italy) as our newsletter distribution platform within the European markets. The email addresses of our newsletter recipients and their further details described in this information are stored on the Host Spa servers in the EU. The Host SpA do not use this information to send and evaluate the newsletters on our behalf. The Host SpA by means our admission can use these data to enhance or improve its own services, e.g. to technically enhance the dispatch procedure and display of the newsletter or for commercial purposes to be able to determine which countries the recipients are from. However, the Host SpA will not use the data of our newsletter recipients to contact You by itself neither to forward Your data to third parties. The reliability, IT security and data security of Host SpA. Host SpA is certified under the EU data privacy agreement and agrees to comply with the EU data privacy guidelines. Host SpA is a data processor based on GDPR so that means the company Host SpA is obligated to protect the data of our users, to process it in accordance with its privacy policy on our behalf and must not forward this information to third parties. Cancellation / Termination / Withdrawal

Once subscribed You will have the right to cancel You data from our lists anytime. You may opt-out of receiving our newsletter at any time, i.e. withdraw your consent or cancel your subscription. This means you also no longer consent to the distribution of this newsletter via Host SpA and the statistical analyses. We inform You that it is not possible to cancel the distribution via Host SpA or the statistical evaluation separately.
We kindly inform You that You will always find a link to “unsubscribe to the newsletter” at the end of each email sent to You.

Collected data

The data collected by this Web Application independently or through third parties in their capacity as "users", are public domain data accessible by anyone who is interested. Among the Personal Data of the "users" there are the Email, Name and Surname and Password. 

Retention times of your data

Please note that You will always have the right to cancel yourself from our subscriptions. The collected data will be kept for the entire duration of the relationship and for 10 years from the date of termination of the relationship or, if the processing is aimed at commercial activities, for 5 years from the collection. If data not related to the administrative and accounting obligations connected to it are processed during the contractual relationship, such data will be kept for the time necessary to achieve the purpose for which they were collected and then deleted. The retention times of such data will be communicated to you when such data is collected with specific information.

Your rights in relation to your information

Subject to certain limitations on certain rights, you have the following rights in relation to your information, which you can exercise by writing to the data controller using the details provided at the top of this policy.

  • to request the correction or deletion of your information anytime;
  • to request that we restrict our use of your information;
  • to receive information which you have provided to us in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format (e.g. a CSV file) and the right to have that information transferred to another data controller (including a third party data controller);

Verifying your identity where you request access to your information

Where you request access to your information, we are required by law to use all reasonable measures to verify your identity before doing so. These measures are designed to protect your information and to reduce the risk of identity fraud, identity theft or general unauthorised access to your information.

As said, Your information could be transferred and stored outside the European Economic Area (EEA) in the circumstances set out in this policy. Responsible for the treatment

External companies with which a contractual work / collaboration relationship has been established and which need to receive your personal data to fulfill these agreements perform the role of Data Processors.
